BASIC RESERVOIR ENGINEERING FOR NON PETROLEUM ENGINEER

TRAINING OBJECTIVE :

Setelah menyelesaikan training reservoir engineering ini diharapkan peserta dapat :

1. Memengerti tentang proses terjadinya reservoir minyak dan gas bumi, dengan uraian sederhana tentang prospeksi geofisika dan eksplorasi
2. geologi, termasuk analisis mekanisme yang terjadi di dalam reservoir minyak dan gas bumi.
3. Memahami prinsip-prinsip dasar perhitungan reservoir minyak, gas dan pengembangan pelaksanaan optimisasi produksi untuk meningkatkan kinerja produksi sumuran dan lapangan.
4. Melakukan diagnosis sederhana dan memengerti pelaksanaan perhitungan cadangan serta peramalan kinerja reservoir minyak dan gas bumi.
5. Membuat analisis sederhana terhadap data fluida dan batuan reservoir untuk perhitungan dan peramalan kinerja dan merencanakan pengembanganya. .
6. Mempergunakan pengetahuan optimisasi untuk aplikasi dalam cara peningkatan perolehan reservoir minyak bumi, beserta dasar-dasar simulasinya.

Latar belakang : Operator, Senior Operator, Administration, Junior Engineering or Engineer Non Petroleum, dan siapa saja yang perlu untuk memahami basic reservoir engineering

Advanced Production Operations For Oil & Gas

The rapidly increasing worldwide demand for natural gas as an energy source requires expertise in gas engineering technology. Incorporating a balance between theory and application, course emphasis is on training participants for immediate application of acquired techniques to field problems.
Production is defined as the operations involved in bringing well fluids to the surface and preparing the fluids for transport to a refinery via pipelines or trucks. The first step in production is to start the well fluids flowing to the surface (called “well completion”). Well servicing and workover consists of performing routine maintenance operations (such replacing worn or malfunctioning equipment) and performing more extensive repairs, respectively. Well servicing and workover are an intermittent step and necessary to maintain the flow of oil and gas. Next, the fluid must be separated into its components of oil, gas, and water; stored; and treated (for purification), measured, and tested before being transported to the refinery.
This training will provide the principle and yet some practical and theoretical aspect that can be applied on daily work faced by production engineers and supervisor in the oil industry.

OBJECTIVE

All aspects of completions are covered in sufficient detail to permit participants to review his/her current practices The fundamental concepts of production operations and their proper application in the field Production equipment such as wellhead, tubing and packers, well completions and workover as well as well test and problems, production logging and cementing will also covered Production logs and how and when to use them; evaluation techniques for cement bond logs and pulse echo tools

Learn how to plan and implement well completions, workovers, stimulation treatments, and routine production operations with an efficiency that increases profits
Learn about the role of rock mechanics in completions, stimulation, and workovers
Be able to give suggest or discover the procedures and techniques that increase production and cut operating costs

ADVANCED ELECTRICAL MOTOR (Operation, Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Failure)

This training is designed to give knowledge and skill on operation, maintenance, protection, control, troubleshooting and Failure of electric motor that many used in industries. Electrical motors are the “workhorses” of industry and are the most widely used electrical machines. Applications of electrical motor can be found in industries, electric transportation, robotics, process control and energy conservation. This course gives a thorough understanding of electrical motor’s working, control , protection, maintenance, failure modes and the tools to maintain and troubleshoot electrical motors. This course also covers electrical motor starting and speed control .

Reliability-based maintenance (RBM) and condition-based maintenance (CBM) strategies are now widely used by industry, and health monitoring of electrical motor and drives. Motor current signature analysis (MCSA) use to diagnose faults in induction motor drives. MCSA is a noninvasive, online monitoring technique for the diagnosis of problems in induction motors. Participant will gain a fundamental understanding of the electrical motor, installation, operation, maintenance, failure and troubleshooting. Participant will gain valuable insight into the selection of the protection necessary to ensure motors are protected against fault conditions, so as to ensure reliability and long life. Computer simulations are used for understanding of electrical motor operation, maintenance, failure and troubleshooting.

AC/ DC ELECTRICAL MOTOR

This course covers AC/DC electrical motor drives for speed/position control. It presents an integrated discussion of AC/DC electric motor, power electronics, and control systems. Applications of electric drives can be found in industries, electric transportation, robotics, process control and energy conservation. This course gives a thorough understanding of AC/DC electrical motor’s working, control , protection, maintenance, failure modes and the tools to maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC electrical motors drives. The course focuses on the dc and ac motor from solid state converters for better torque and speed response. Advanced control techniques are applied to optimize the performance of dc/ac motor drives. Since majority of modern drives are dc/ac motor drives, the course centers around the control of dc/ac motor drives.

Participant will gain a fundamental understanding of the AC/DC electrical motor drives, installation, operation and troubleshooting. Participant will gain valuable insight into the selection of the protection necessary to ensure your motors are protected against fault conditions, so as to ensure reliability and long life. Finally, control aspects of some special motors, such as permanent magnet synchronous motor, brushless dc motor, switched reluctance motor, etc. Computer simulations are used for understanding AC/DC electric motor, power-electronics based converters and the design of control systems.

Dunia pertambangan tidak pernah lepas dengan proses drilling atau pengeboran, dan pada proses ini boleh di bilang sebagai proses yang kompleks dan rumit serta perlu adanya perhitungan yang matang dalam eksekusinya. Proses yang cukup kompleks ini menuntut perusahaan perminyakan dan gas bumi membutuhkan pekerja yang mampu menghandle berbagai persoalan yang muncul ketika proses pengeboran berlangsung. Alur proses pengeboran dimulai dengan perencanaan, pengadaan, instalasi, proses operasi, perawatan hingga evaluasi sistem pengeboran memiliki potensi persoalan yang tingkat kesulitannya berbeda-beda dan dapat berimbas pada proses bisnis perusahaan jika tidak ditangani dengan tepat.

SISTEM MANAJEMEN KAIZEN

Strategi Kaizen adalah konsep tunggal dalam manajemen Jepang yang paling penting – kunci sukses Jepang dalam meraih persaingan. KAIZEN berarti perbaikan berkesinambungan yang melibatkan semua orang – baik manajemen puncak, manajer, supervisor maupun karyawan.

Konsep Kaizen dibagi dalam 3 segmen, yaitu Pertama, berorientasi pada manajemen. Manajemen Jepang umumnya percaya bahwa seorang manajer harus menggunakan 50% waktunya untuk penyempurnaan. Mulai dengan mengidentifikasi “pemborosan” maupun “aktivitas karyawan.” Kedua, berorientasi pada kelompok “gugus kendali mutu” dan “aktivitas kelompok kecil” untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab masalah, menganalisis, melaksanakan, mencoba tindakan baru, dan menetapkan standar/ prosedur baru. Dewasa ini isu tentang lingkungan hidup menjadi perhatian untuk beberapa perusahaan besar, terutama beberapa perusahaan migas, tambang dan perusahaan sektor lain yang bersimbiosis langsung dengan lingkungan sekitarnya.
