The training is theory based on however there is a rig site observation platform, this training is to introduce staff who have little or no knowledge of the terminology or equipment used within oilfield operations, especially on drilling technology.Time is money. Drilling time is big money. Technical and managerial decision makers must grasp the language and technology of drilling operations in order to minimize expenditures throughout the producing life of a well. Successful drilling requires blending many technologies. Drilling equipment and procedures have a unique language that must be conquered for maximum benefit. Clear understandable explanations of drilling rig equipment; procedures and their complex interactions provide an excellent basis to organize cross-trained team efforts. Activities around the rig and well planning are de-mystified. Subtle and blatant common errors are accentuated to enhance this understanding.
This course focuses on the AC induction motor, the most common motor used in industry. Most of the failures of AC motor can be attributed to either improper installation or improper application. Information on the motor nameplate can provide the answer to many of the mechanical drive problems that plague your company.
