The course provides the basic of philosophy, principles and concepts, and then introduce the techniques and methodology of reliability assessment and evaluation as applied to mechanical components, equipment, and mechanicalplant systems and sub-systems.
To improve the understanding of failures as related to their nodes, causes and effect, and then develop counter measures to control the risk of failure.

* Understand the role of reliability assessment in reliability management
* Learn alternatives techniques in Reliability Assessment and Evaluation, suchs as FMEA, ETA, FTA and RBD
* Find out how to use Weibull Analysis to make reliability predictions
* Able to Measure Availability Prediction using Montecarlo Simulation
